Details Itinerary

Day 01 Yangon Arrival
Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Visit the glided Sule Pagoda in city centre, the Independent monument in Maha Bandoola Park, the old colonial style buildings near The Strand Hotel, Karaweik Hall -- a Royal Floating Barge on a lake for photo stop, Chaukhtutgyi Reclining Buddha, Bogyoke market & Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Yangon - Mandalay
After breakfast transfer to airport for leaving Mandalay by morning flight W9 223, 0700 - 0825 hrs.. Arrive Mandalay International Airport at Tada Oo ( an hour drive from Mandalay ). Transfer to hotel. Start to visit Mahamuni pagoda, cottage industries like weaving, ivory / stone / wood carving, gold leaf making & Shwe Innbin Monastery - an excellent specimen of Myanmar wooden architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Mandalay
Morning visit to Mandalay Palace & Moat, the old Watch - Tower with Zaygyo Market. After lunch visit tapestery workshop, silk weaving, Shwenandaw Monastery, Atumashi Kyaung, Kuthodaw Pagoda - the world biggest book & sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Mandalay - Amarapura / Sagaing / Innwa - Mandalay
After breakfast visit to Amarapura, Innwa & Sagaing. You can visit to Bagaya Kyaung, a famous collection of Buddha Images & Mahagandaryone Monastery to observe the thousand of monks' having lunch. Then Me Nu Brick Monastery & Maha Aung Myay Bon Zan Monastery with riding horse carts in Innwa. Also visit Sagaing Hill to see the 45 Buddha Images ( Umin Thonese ) & silverware industry. Then Sunset from U Bein wooden bridge & drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Mandalay - Maymyo / Pyin oo Lwin - Mandalay
After breakfast excursion trip to Pyin Oo Lwin ( former British Hill Station Maymyo ) which is 90 mins. up hill drive from Mandalay. The interesting places are Maymyo Zay, Chinese Jog house, 2000 acre Botanical Garden known as National Kandawgyi Garden, Waterfall & Peik Chin Myaung Cave. In the evening, drive back to Mandalay. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Mandalay - Bagan
Early breakfast. Transfer to jetty for a riverine ( down stream ) cruise on the Majestic Irrawaddy river leave Mandalay for Bagan. The boat departs Mandalay at 7am & arrive Bagan around 1700 hrs. but sometimes late due to the current river flow. Bagan is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Bagan
Breakfast. For sightseeing start with busy local market and visit to a diverse selection of the important pagodas and temples --- Shwezigon Pagoda - building by King Anawratha in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Gu Byauk Gyi - a temple with exquisite murals of Jatakas Scenes in Nyaung U, Shwe Gu Gyi Temple - noted for line stucco carvings and Ananda Temple - with four huge standing Buddha images galleried interior. Also visit Thatbyinnyu Temple - highest in Bagan, Manuha Temple - with gigantic Buddha image, Nanpaya Temples - an early style with the finest stone carving & Lawkananda pagoda - a landmark of Bagan in Thiripyitsaya village. Back to Bagan to visit lacquer ware industries, Dhamayangyi Temple for its massive & enjoy sun set from Shwesandaw Pagoda. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Bagan
Whole day visit in Bagan. First sightseeing to Nyaung Oo Market to see traditional Myanmar life. Then the worthy sites to visit are Shwezigon Pagoda - built in ( 1084 - 1113 ), Kyansittha Umin near Nat Hlaung Kyaung, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukgyi Temple - with finr mural painting of Jatakas scenes, Htilominlo - with its plaster carvings, Ananda - an architectural masterpiece, Thatbyinnyu Temple - highest in Bagan. Continue to Myinkaba village to see Manuha temple - with gigantic Buddha image, Nanpaya temple - an early style with the finest stone carving and Dhamayangyi Temple, now you have seen the most beautiful, the highest & the most massive three temples of Bagan - Ananda, Thatbyinnyu & Dhamayangyi respectively. Enjoy sun set from Shwesandaw Pagoda. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Bagan - Sale - Popa
In the morning, excursion to Salay, which is famous for its "Yokeson Monastery". The monastery is unique for its wood curving and then visit to the Buddha Image made of lacquerware. Afternoon proceed the way to Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano with spectacular views. Its shrine is dedicated to animist spirits known as "Nats" and you will have time to cling the 777 steps to the shrine at the top the peak. Spend the night at Mt.Popa.

Day 10 Popa - Kalaw
Breakfast. Check out hotel & start the trip to Kalaw via Mt. Popa, 37 miles from Bagan, an extinct volcano, 1500 meters, 700 steps, scenic beauty from the mountain is unforgettable. On the way villages, you can observe Myanmar jaggery ( candy ) working & Myanmar liquer making. Also the true life style of upper Burmans can be seen & Nat Pwe will be holding twice each year. Then proceed the overland route to Kalaw passing through Meikhtila. On the way, you can see different tribes & landscape and climb to nearly 1400 meters. Arrive Kalaw in the evening & check in hotel & Overnight.

Day 11 Kalaw - Inle
Breakfast. Kalaw is a favorite hill station retreat for British Officials their during the hot season in the British days, situated on the western edge of the Shan Plateau with ever pine trees. Visit Kalaw local market, Hindu Temple, Catholic Church, Orphange, Umin Gu, Banboo Pagoda, Kalaw Station & coloniel buildings in Kalaw. Check out hotel. Drive to Shwe Nyaung - Nyaung Shwe / Inle. ON the way, the beautiful hill tracts & tribal life can be studied in Palaung village near Kalaw just trakking. Before arriving Nyaung Shwe (92 km ) visit Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery. Then boat ride in Lake Inle, 22 km long & 10 km wide. Check in hotel in Lake Inle. Overnight at hotel. ( Palaung village - Ywa Thit & Ta Yaw -- about 17 km where you can see the teal plantation on the slope of the hill & beautiful panoramic view, so you have to adjust time limit to see Kalaw sites )

Day 12 Inle
Breakfast. We take you to the famous Floating Market Day in Heya Ywama & can be seen the Shan bag making, typical floating gardens in Lin Kin Village, methods of fishing & famous for it's " the unique leg - rowers " ( the fisherman stand at the stern of the boat on one leg & wrap the other around the oar to propel the boat ). Then visit Inndein ( north of Inle ) & can be observed the ruin stupas, traditional Myanmar food ( flat, thin, disclike ) making & Padaung Ladies who are weaving in villiger house. Also can be studied the threads from the lotus stems for lotus robe weaving industry, Hand weaving centre, goldsmith workshop & umbrella industry. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 Inle - Heho - Yangon
After breakfast check out hotel & transfer to Heho Airport to fly Yangon by morning flight. Arrive Yangon & transfer to hotel. Visit Kaba Aye Pagoda ( World Peace ), Mahapasana Guha Cave where sixth Buddhist synod took place & a local glass blowing factory, Natural wholesales market, the bustling jetty & China Town along the street stalls. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Yangon - Bangkok
Breakfast. Check out hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
